Do What Fuels Your Passion
I received a Christmas present in the mail today, a real surprise since the holiday was months ago. My daughter who lives now in Colorado Springs signed me up for a most interesting publication. It’s called, Life & Thyme Culinary Story Telling. It is a 119 page bound publication, published quarterly. I have received my second copy.

How Thinking "Small" Gets Big Things Done
Every day slides on top of the next so quickly it is hard to know where we are headed
I wake each day with my mind full of plans and projects I must work on, but the reality is, small steps are the most difficult. It is easy to dream big and far into the future to wish and hope for things to be just so, however, it’s the everyday decisions and circumstances we step through that add up to make up our years.

I Love It When a Small Saying Says it All
One Word, One Motto
Words have power. Even just one word can have impact on a person, a situation or a year. It happened to me one New Year’s Eve about 6 years ago when I decided to choose a word, just one, to keep in my heart and mind for the next year. I’ve picked a One Word every year since.
I take my time choosing my One Word. It seems when the time is right a unique word pops into my mind, and I know that’s the one I’ll need to carry with me for the next 12 months. And I do.
Greeting Cards
I’m not very good at sending cards to people. I enjoy buying them, searching the racks, to find the one that says the perfect sentiment. I have drawers full of all kinds of greeting and birthday cards waiting to be sent. That is where things break down. I am good at buying cards for people, bad at sending them.
